One-to-One Pregnancy Yoga

Pregnancy is a unique time in the life of women during which it is even more important, to look after their physical and mental well-being.

Being a mum of 2, I had the great privilege to experience first-hand how wonderfully supportive Yoga during pregnancy is.

Both pregnancies were quite straightforward, both births were nearly on opposite ends of the spectrum.

My son was born in hospital after, 3 days of labour.

My daughter on the other hand was born at home after 3 1/2 hours of labour without any pain relief but deep breaths and lots of movement.

The time of pregnancy is full of changes, and keeping yourself healthy and strong is most important.

The changes can lead to discomforts such as:

  • Back pain.

  • Breathlessness.

  • Poor digestion.

  • Mood swings.

  • Disrupted sleep.

Pregnancy Yoga and Ayurveda can play a vital role in enhancing the experience of this very special time, empowering the mum-to-be to manage the above discomforts, and prepare for birth and the time beyond. Yoga helps women enjoy their pregnancy by strengthening their bodies, cultivating breath awareness and connecting with their babies.

Pregnancy yoga is suitable for beginners and experienced Yoga practitioners alike.
