This course is designed for true beginners. Every pose can be adapted to suit your abilities, so you’ll never feel out of your depth. We’ll focus on simple, effective movements that build confidence, not intimidation. Forget about headstands or pretzel-like poses—those come after years of practice. What You Can Expect Over 6 Weeks

Each week, we’ll focus on a specific area of the body. From hips and back to shoulders and core, you’ll learn how to strengthen and release tension in these key areas. Alongside physical movements, we’ll dive into breathwork, which is one of yoga’s most transformative tools for calming the mind and reducing stress. Finally, we’ll explore simple yet profound concepts from yoga philosophy that can shift your perspective and bring clarity to your daily life.

My Story: From Pain to Freedom

As a teen with scoliosis, I lived with constant back pain—until I found yoga. After just one session, my pain was gone. Over time, yoga gave me strength, flexibility, and peace of mind. It became my trusted companion, helping me transform not only my posture but also my emotional well-being. Now, I’m sharing what I’ve learned to help others feel the same freedom.

Course Details

  • When: Wednesday evenings, 6:00 - 7:00 pm

  • Dates: Feb 26th - Apr 2nd, 2025

  • Where: 1st Ickenham Scouts Hall, Community Close, Ickenham UB10 8RE

  • What to Bring: Your own mat if you have one (mats are also available to borrow).

This 6-week course is the perfect way to dip your toes into yoga and see if it’s for you. By the end of our sessions, you’ll feel more confident, more grounded, and ready to explore yoga further. If you love it, you’ll even have the opportunity to join our regular in-person sessions afterwards.
