Surya Namaskar or Salute to the Sun is a set sequence that we practice in the morning.
It is well know for being energetic and a great sequence to practice on a daily basis.
The health benefits of this sequence are many, from improving digestion, circulation, breathing, to strengthening the body and lifting your spirits.
Surya Namaskar can seem like hard work.
But, as with everything else in Yoga, we can tailor it to our needs plus its benefits on our body and mind outweigh by far the effort. A daily Salute to the Sun practice, is said to bring us good health throughout our life.
