This session introduces you to asanas (yoga poses) and ideas of the yoga philosophy. The breath weaves through the session in form of different techniques and focuses.
Asanas move the spine into bending to the side, forward, backward, and into twists, in order to maintain or develop a healthy and strong back. They move the joints throughout their paces to lubricate them thoroughly and keep them mobile.
The breathing strengthens the muscles involved, supplies the system with fresh oxygen, helps you to deepen the breath which induces relaxation, slower heart beat, lower blood pressure and a better digestion.
By the end of the session your body has use all its muscles helping them to strengthen and lengthen. You feel good, light and the business of the day seems far away.
